Oh, I know, I know—–the world is coming to an end. The day outside is abominable—rainy, blustery, cold—and you were all supposed to go fishing; well, take stock of the situation—-all is not lost, if your computer works. There are all kinds of bass fishing games online just for the looking, and you can find almost anything you are looking for that will take away your doldrums and give you hours of fun chasing fish online, almost as good as the “reel” thing.
Let’s start with one that has become one of the most fun of the bass fishing games available online, because it is so doggone realistic; Bass Fishing Pro. You will find it a real challenge to chase the fish, hook them, reel them in faster and faster, because the faster you get and the more you catch, the higher up in the levels you move. But, keep in mind that as you get revved up and go charging after those bass, your boat does not have an unending supply of gas, and if you run out——nanner nanner——you are now rowing the boat. And what does that action do for your fishing skills and speed—-not much now that you are pulling oars. So, in between steering the boat, chasing fish, hooking them, reeling them in and running around stuff; you have to watch the gas too. Remember, you can upgrade your boat as you become more agile, and you can compete in tournaments, which will help move you up the ladder.
Next up in bass fishing games is Fishing Champion. This game is cartoon based and packs a lot of fun hours in for most people with its casting action being so realistic, and the same for when you actually hook the fish and then reel it in. The bigger the fish you hook, the more money you rack up; and to get even more or extra cash—-you have the opportunity of hooking bonus fish. There are lots of tournaments to play in and win, and you move from location to location up the levels as you win your tournaments. Makes for a good time for all players.
Our next candidate in bass fishing games found on the internet is one called Fishing Frenzy, and it is true to its name. This one is for those folks who want a real challenge in trying to beat the clock, and as the game gets harder, it gets more frenzied, and you start to sweat as you watch the clock ticking and ticking away without missing a beat. The fish grab the line and pull the bobber under the water’s surface and the fun is on—-you set your hook and go after him in the shortest time possible. The action increases as does the difficulty of each level and that old clock never stops. You will have the “time” of your life with this game. Lots of action and fun.
Here’s one of the simpler forms of the bass fishing games found on the internet, but don’t let that put you off—-it still has plenty of challenges for everyone in the whole family. This one is called Reel Fishing, and the idea is that you are to catch as many moving fish as you can to be able to move up the levels of difficulty. But, there is a catch—actually a couple. First of all, you are in a stationary boat on the surface of a lake, and the fish are just shadows underneath you in the water, moving-moving–moving nonstop in circles under the boat. You must aim at the shadows moving under you and then cast at a shadow and try to hook it—easier said than done. Then, the other catch is—you have to watch how much drag pressure you are exerting on the line because too much of said pressure, and SNAP—-you are out of the running—–your line breaks and “Game Over”. Fun for all, that’s for sure.
Next up we have something called Survivor Fishing—-the premise of which is not new for all of you who watch reality shows on TV. You are out in the wilds, alone, and you must live off the land to survive. Foremost in your mind, in this more realistic of the bass fishing games, is the fact that you have to find something to eat, and lo and behold—–here is a river, and in the river most likely, are fish. So you start out trying to catch some supper in the river, but be careful because if you get too exuberant and pull too hard on the line, the pole will break and supper will not happen. Neither will the rest of the game—-you have to start from the beginning. There are options in the game to play with a character face on, or not; either way, it is challenging and certainly a lot of adventure for anyone playing this game.
Just remember, that even though your plans for a day of fishing in the great outdoors have fallen through; that doesn’t mean you have to give up any hope of fishing at all. Just browse up bass fishing games on the internet, and you will find tons of them that will keep you and your family entertained for literally hours.
